The Bali 7.0 is the next step in the development of the range and was designed by Catana’s R&D department. The naval architecture is by Briand Yacht Design, whilst the interior is by PIATON BERCO. The yard describes the result as an apartment on the ocean, combining the sailing characteristics derived from the CATANA tradition with a level of space one would normally expect to find ashore.
Measuring 22.53 metres in length and 10.32 metres in beam, this is a substantial vessel, weighing 40 tonnes and with a diesel capacity of 2,000 litres. The propulsion system consists of two engines, one rated at 195 hp and the other at 230 hp. With a standard sail area of over 280 square metres, the rig is designed for ocean crossings, where distance and ease of sailing are more important than short sprints.
This model is aimed at owners who genuinely wish to cover long distances without compromising on space or finish. Expect a yacht designed for extended stays on board, with plenty of deck space and a layout that carries the brand’s open-plan lifestyle through to the 70-foot class.
