Aquanaut has been producing this model since 2009, making it one of the longest-running designs in the Global Voyager range.
The extra length compared to the GV 1500 is mainly reflected in the accommodation. Below deck, you’ll find three cabins and two bathrooms, with room for six people. This makes it the model in the range that allows you to travel with a full party without the living space feeling cramped, even when you’re on board for weeks on end.
Two Volvo D3 engines, each producing 150 hp, provide the propulsion. The 3,000-litre fuel capacity and the 1,200-litre water tank are generously sized and, in practice, determine how far you can travel. Given the leisurely pace maintained by a cruising hull, this results in a range that is well suited to the travel objectives of this series.
