About Wauquiez
Classy French sailing yachts, built to take on the sea.
The story of Wauquiez begins in 1964, when Henri and Véronique Wauquiez bought an Elizabethan 29. Henri, a descendant of a family of tanners, then converted part of the family tannery into a shipyard. Following the Elizabethan 29, built under licence, came the Centurion 32, of which 380 were built.
The yard in Neuville-en-Ferrain, near Lille, remains the company’s home base. Wauquiez is renowned for its elegant Centurion range and spacious Pilot Saloon yachts. Each yacht is built with a great deal of craftsmanship; only around twelve yachts leave the yard each year.
