Norwegian motor boats built for rough coastal waters.

Viknes Bat og Service was founded in 1988 by Jan Inge Sivertsen and is based in Florvag on the island of Askøy, near Bergen. The first boat was the Viknes 770 Combi. Following a devastating factory fire in 2000, the company built a new production facility, and in 2011 the Norwegian brand Skilso was added to its portfolio.

Viknes builds enclosed motor boats designed for the Norwegian coast, with particular attention paid to sea conditions, visibility and a practical deck. The range includes the Viknes, 8 and 10, the 930, 1030 and 1080, and the larger S35 and S40, usually available as Panorama, Sunbridge or Flybridge models.
