Austrian sailing yachts from a family-run business founded in 1838.

Sunbeam Yachts has its roots in the Austrian family business Schochl, which began as a carpentry firm in 1838. From 1950 onwards, the family shifted its focus to boatbuilding, and in 1965 the first series production of keelboats began. Andreas Schochl took over the business in 2020 as the fourth generation and continued it under the name Sunbeam, based in Munderfing.

Sunbeam builds sailing yachts that emphasise timeless lines, woodwork and sailing performance. The range comprises the 22.1, 28.1, 29.1 and 29.1 GT, the 32.1 and the 36.2. The smaller models are trailable, making them suitable for lakes and shorter trips, whilst the larger models are designed for weekend and holiday cruising.
