About Rodman

Spanish motor yachts and workboats from the Vigo estuary.

Rodman has been building boats on the Vigo estuary in Galicia since 1974 and describes itself as Spain’s oldest company in this sector. Its founder and current chairman is Manuel Rodriguez. Rodman Group operates from three yards: Metalships & Docks in Vigo, and Rodman Polyships and Neuvisa, both in Moana, which together cover an area of 162,000 square metres. Over more than fifty years, the group has delivered more than fifteen thousand vessels and operates in over sixty countries. In addition to pleasure craft, it builds patrol boats, passenger ships, workboats and steel vessels up to 170 metres in length.

The pleasure craft range comprises four series. The Ventura models are open console boats and weekenders fitted with outboard engines; according to the yard, they measure between 6 and 8 metres and are available with an open cockpit, a closed bow or a hard cabin. The Spirit range comprises a 31-footer and a 42-footer with a hardtop or flybridge; the Spirit 42 Fly Bridge measures 12.35 metres and is powered by Volvo IPS. The Evolution models are larger cruising yachts, also available in flybridge and sportfishing versions, whilst the Muse line, designed by Fulvio de Simoni, ranges from the 13.60-metre Muse 44 to the 23.16-metre Muse 74 with two MAN V12 engines.
