About Jachtwerf Oost
Frisian cutter yachts with a distinctive bow.
Jachtwerf Oost is a family business from Akkrum in Friesland, founded in 1968 and now in its third generation. The yard has made a name for itself with the Oostvaarder, a steel cutter yacht with a striking, forward-sloping bow. As well as building new vessels, the company offers maintenance, refit, yacht brokerage and charter services, all from its own waterside premises.
The current range of new-build models comprises the Oostvaarder 1200 MS, the 1200 AK, the 1100 OK and the 900 Hybrid. This range spans from an open-cockpit model to a motor-sailer with an aft cabin, and a hybrid propulsion system is also available. Each vessel is designed and fitted out in consultation with the owner.
