Bowriders and deckboats from Michigan, a brand of the Groupe Beneteau.
Four Winns has been building motor boats in Cadillac, Michigan, since 1962. The brand name was established in 1975, when John Winn, together with his father Bill Senior and his brothers Bill Junior and Charlie, took over an existing boat builder; the first in-house models, the Candia and the Marquise, followed in 1978. Since 2014, the brand has been part of the French Groupe Beneteau, which acquired the American group Rec Boat Holdings from the investor Platinum. Four Winns is thus one of the seven boat brands within that group. In June 2026, Beneteau announced the closure of the factory in Cadillac and the sale of Four Winns, Glastron and Scarab Jet.
The range comprises two families. The H-series ranges from the 6.12-metre H1 to the H33, which is just over ten metres long, and includes bowriders and larger day cruisers; the HD series comprises the wider deckboats HD3, HD5 and HD8. Almost every model is available in a sterndrive version and an outboard engine version, designated ‘OB’, and several models feature a ‘Surf’ version designed for wakesurfing. In 2023, Four Winns unveiled the H2e, a fully electric bowrider developed in collaboration with Vision Marine Technologies. The boats are aimed at families and water sports enthusiasts who cruise on lakes and coastal waters.
