With an electric motor the power in kW is the reference, but what you notice in practice depends mostly on the battery. That is why we show three extra fields for electric engines and boats.

Battery capacity (kWh)

How much energy the battery can store. The bigger, the longer you can cruise, but a bigger battery is also heavier.

Range

How far or how long you get on one charge. Strongly depends on speed: cruising slowly extends the range considerably.

Charging time

How long it takes to fully recharge the battery. Depends on the charger and the shore connection.
