The Vedette Navigator 42 is the medium-sized model in the Navigator series. Thanks to its extra length, there is more space in both the saloon and the cockpit, making the boat suitable for longer voyages with several people on board.

The multi-hinged hull with a bevelled underwater section, the vertical axe-shaped bow and the spray rail give the vessel its distinctive silhouette and excellent handling characteristics. The vessel is highly stable on course, manoeuvrable and, for a steel displacement vessel, remarkably fast. The engine room beneath the cockpit floor is fully insulated.

The headroom is 2.05 metres. A Vetus Deutz VD4.140 (140 hp) or a Yanmar 4LV150 (150 hp) is available as standard, with 600 litres of fuel and 500 litres of fresh water on board. With the mast lowered, the air draft is 2.80 metres. With CE Class B certification, this is a seagoing yacht for those seeking a wider range of cruising areas.
