The Vedette 36 Cabin Lounge is the compact version of the Lounge range, with the emphasis specifically on outdoor space. Vedette regularly heard from cabin boaters that space in the cockpit is more important than space in the cabin, and that principle has been incorporated into this model.
At the rear, the boot immediately catches the eye; it is an in-house design by the engineers at Vedette. The hinges pivot and move vertically, allowing the tailgate to open in a space-saving manner whilst keeping the swim platform clear. Electric actuators ensure smooth opening. The swim platform, fitted with Flexiteek, features two hatches with connections for shore power, deck wash and stern shower, plus a telescopic swimming ladder that is discreetly concealed.
The helm seats are mounted on a freestanding console, whilst the U-shaped bench runs along the double-skinned cockpit coaming and the storage compartment. The engine room is located beneath the cockpit floor and is heavily insulated, meaning that normal conversation remains possible whilst underway. As standard, the vessel is powered by an 80 hp Yanmar 4JH80 engine. CE Class B.
