Q Yachts developed this model to transport people in busy cities and lakeside areas in an environmentally friendly, elegant, quiet and efficient manner. Cities such as Venice and Amsterdam are imposing increasingly stringent emission limits on their waterways, and this boat meets those requirements.
The hull measures 9.3 metres with a beam of 2.2 metres and a draught of 0.6 metres, so the boat also copes with narrower canals. It can accommodate eight people. As there is no internal combustion engine on board, passengers can converse without anyone having to raise their voice.
The propulsion system consists of two Torqeedo Cruise 10.0 FP pods with a combined continuous power output of 20 kW and a 30 kWh lithium battery, which can be upgraded to 40 kWh. The yard states a cruising speed of 6 knots at a range of up to 60 nautical miles, 9 knots at 42 nautical miles and a top speed of 14 knots at 21 nautical miles. Steering is drive-by-wire via a joystick, with independently rotating pods.
