The hull is made of steel, 8.00 m long and 3.20 m wide, with a draught of 0.80 m. With an air draft of 2.50 m, the yacht fits under most fixed bridges. The headroom inside is 1.95 m. The enclosed wheelhouse with saloon means the vessel can be used even outside the peak season.
The vessel is powered by a built-in three-cylinder Yanmar diesel engine producing 38 hp. Its cruising speed is 10 km/h and its top speed is 11 km/h, with a fuel consumption of approximately 3 litres per hour. The fuel tank holds 200 litres and the fresh water tank 400 litres. A hydraulic bow thruster is fitted as standard.
The LX 800 Salon combines an enclosed wheelhouse with an open cockpit that can be enclosed with a cabin awning, making the living space flexible. At the bow is an enclosed sleeping cabin with a double bed and storage space. The galley is fitted with a three-burner gas hob, a fridge and hot water, and there is a shower with a toilet fitted with a flush pump.
Doerak Sneek delivers the boats from its own yard on Eeltjebaasweg in Sneek and also provides maintenance, a marina and winter storage. The new-build models are built to order, with the layout agreed in consultation with the customer.
