The Bali 4.4 was conceived by Olivier Poncin, with naval architecture by Xavier Fay and interiors by PIATON BERCO. The catamaran is being built in France, near La Rochelle. As with the entire Bali range, there is a fixed deck at the bow instead of a trampoline, so you can sit or lie down there in comfort. The distinctive Bali Door, a large tilting door, connects the saloon and cockpit to form a continuous living space.
Measuring 13.75 metres in length and 7.40 metres in beam, the 4.4 offers plenty of usable deck space for its size, whilst the lightweight remains at 12.8 tonnes. The lowered helm position ensures a more efficient sail plan and easier manoeuvring. Engine options range from two 40 hp engines to two 57 hp engines, and with 800 litres of diesel on board, you can also cover longer stretches under engine power.
The CE certification is valid for twelve people in Category A and fourteen in Category B, rising to 24 and 38 people in the coastal categories. This makes the model suitable both for owners planning longer crossings and for day trips with a large group. The yard therefore supplies the 4.4 to both private owners and the charter industry.
