Targa

The four-wheel drive of the sea, from Finland.

Targa is the brand of Botnia Marin, which Johan Carpelan and his wife Brit Marie founded in Malax, Finland, in 1976. In 1984, the company acquired the production rights to the Targa 25 and built its own range of models around it. Production takes place in Malax and Nykarleby in western Finland.

Targa builds seaworthy pilothouse motor boats which the brand itself refers to as the ‘four-wheel drive of the sea’, designed for the sea as it really is. The range extends from the 23.1 and 25.1, through the 27.2, 30.1, 32 and 37, to the 41 and 46. There is also the Tarfish series for anglers.
