Ruban Bleu

Quiet electric boating, easy for everyone.

Ruban Bleu was founded in 1992 and was one of the first French companies to specialise in electric boats that can be driven without a boating licence in France. For more than thirty years, the boats have been built in Vigneux-de-Bretagne, in the Loire-Atlantique.

The brand caters to rental companies, river and canal tourism operators, local authorities and private owners. Since 2019, Ruban Bleu has also been making its own electric motors together with a French partner. In 2025, Côme de Veyrinas took over the helm from his father Thibault, who had run the company since 2006.
