Rapsody Yachts has been building fast motor yachts with a classically styled hull, inspired by the American lobster boat, since 1999. The company’s offices are in Enkhuizen, whilst construction takes place at its own yard in Makkum. Owner Cees Butter focuses on craftsmanship, a meticulous finish and open communication with buyers about how a boat is built.

The range comprises a tender and the models R32, R35 V-Foil and R38. The R35 V-Foil is the most striking: it features a hydrofoil beneath the hull designed to improve ride comfort and efficiency at higher speeds. With this, Rapsody is incorporating a new technology into a boat design that otherwise appears quite traditional.
