Pikmeerkruiser has been built for more than sixty years by Jachtwerf de Groot in Grou, in the heart of the Frisian lakes. The yard is known for a timeless, classic Dutch design language and for boats that are still sought after on the second-hand market decades later. Every yacht is built in the Netherlands and is laid out and finished in consultation with the owner.

The range comprises four models, each available in several lengths ranging from roughly thirty-eight to fifty feet: Open Cockpit, Long Roof, Aft Cabin and Flybridge. In addition, the yard provides maintenance, refits and the sale of certified pre-owned Pikmeer cruisers, meaning owners can turn to the same yard for the entire process.
