Steel motor yachts from Groningen – for over fifty years.
Pedro-Boat began in 1973 as a small yard for steel motor yachts in Tripscompagnie and De Groeve in Groningen. In 1976, the company moved to W.A. Scholtenweg in Zuidbroek, where it is still based today. Since its foundation, Pedro has delivered over 1,800 vessels and has become a well-known name for motor yachts up to fifteen metres in length.
Since 2012, day-to-day management has been in the hands of the second generation of the Van der Velde family. Pedro builds models such as the Skiron, Bora, Solano and Aspre, in steel and with a classic Dutch layout. As well as new-build projects, the yard provides yacht brokerage, transport, winter storage, maintenance and refit services, which means owners can rely on a single point of contact throughout the vessel’s entire lifespan.
