About Marian
Austrian electric day boats on Lake Wolfgang.
Marian Boats is an Austrian family-run business that builds electric boats on Lake Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut. Ion Marian founded the company in 2000, initially specialising in maintenance and repairs, before moving on to building its own boats. In 2004, the yard moved from a rented workshop to its current location, where production, storage and the showroom are all under one roof. The company cites its Romanian roots and its commitment to electric boating as the core of its brand, and focuses on lakes where internal combustion engines are restricted or prohibited.
The range comprises open day boats measuring approximately 5.8 to 7.9 metres. The series runs from the Eclipse 580 and the Delta 600, through the Magic 640, the Capriole 700 and the EVO 700, to the Laguna 760 and the M 800, which is also available as the M 800 Spyder and the M 800-R. The M 800 measures 7.90 by 2.50 metres, falls into CE design category C and is available with shaft drive options of 60, 100, 125 or 150 kW and lithium battery packs of up to 125 kWh. The yard quotes speeds of up to seventy kilometres per hour.
