Marex Boats was founded in 1973 by Eyvin Aalrud in Rykene, Norway, and, following a factory fire in 1979, is now built in Fevik in southern Norway, still by the Aalrud family.

The brand specialises in spacious, comfortable family boats, with the Sun Cruiser and Cabriolet Cruiser ranges and a distinctive extendable canopy system for extra shelter on deck.
