Pioneer of the trawler style in recreational boating.
Grand Banks began in Hong Kong in 1956, where Robert Newton and his sons John and Whit built wooden sailing and motor yachts to designs by the world’s finest architects. Their 36-foot trawler proved such a hit that the company began to focus entirely on this range.
Grand Banks introduced the trawler style to the recreational boating sector and now builds, from its base in Malaysia, modern motor yachts that embody the same spirit of adventure as their wooden predecessors.
