German performance cruisers with racing pedigree.
Dehler was founded in 1963 by Willi Dehler and his brother Heinz in Freienohl, in the Sauerland region of Germany. The yard started out with a small dinghy and subsequently expanded into fibreglass sailing boats such as the Varianta. In the 1980s, Dehler put the performance cruiser on the map.
Dehler has been part of HanseYachts AG since 2009. In 2012, production moved to Greifswald on the Baltic Sea, where Karl Dehler, the founder’s son, took charge of product development. The current range comprises the Dehler 30 One Design, the 34, the 38SQ, the 42 and the 46SQ, with designs by judel/vrolijk & co.
