Candela was founded in 2014 by Gustav Hasselskog in Sweden and combines aviation technology with Scandinavian design in electric hydrofoil boats.

An advanced steering and sensor system keeps the boat stable above the water, using up to 80 per cent less energy than a traditional boat. The C-8 is the current flagship for recreational boating.
