Alukin

Welded aluminium boats from Roslagen, part of the Nimbus Group.

Alukin manufactures fully welded aluminium boats and is based in Roslagen near Norrtalje, north of Stockholm. The brand was founded by boat designer Peter Nikula, who reversed his surname to create the brand name. The first model was exhibited at the Swedish trade fair ‘Allt for Sjon’ in 2008, and a year later the trade magazine ‘Praktiskt Batagande’ named Alukin as ‘Newcomer of the Year’. Since 2018, the brand has been part of the Nimbus Group, the Swedish group that also includes Nimbus, Bella, Flipper, Aquador, Paragon, Falcon and EdgeWater.

The range is divided into four groups. The cabin boats comprise the Cabin 650 and the Cabin 770, the SCR 850 and the walkaround WA 950. In addition, there are workboats in the CW and CWA series in 750 and 850 models, the DP 650 as an open leisure boat, and the Pro Fishing 650 and 750 for recreational fishing. The hulls range from approximately 6.5 to 9.5 metres, with outboard engines ranging from around 150 hp on the smallest cabin boat to two x 350 hp on the WA 950. The boats are designed for professional use and for boating in the Scheerens area.
