## Key features

- Fully independent: no stake in any brand or supplier. No hidden arrangements or obligations. No paid positions for boats in the rankings.
- Builders and dealers can pay for extra visibility. This is separate from rankings and comparisons and always labelled Promotion.
- Focus on new boats. Second-hand only for orientation: a value indication and links to listings on other sites. Water&Wind does not sell boats.
- Every value shows its source and date. If a value is missing, it stays open rather than being guessed.
- Prices are 'from' prices provided by the builders, with a reference date, and may differ.
- Compare and favourites work without an account.

## The role of AI in building our boat library

To give visitors the most complete and current overview of the market, Water&Wind uses AI as a research assistant to collect and structure boat data from builders and suppliers. AI helps bring specifications, prices and model information from many sources together into one consistent, searchable boat library – something that would not be feasible by hand at this scale and speed.

AI is used as a research tool, not as an editor. AI collects and structures the data; Water&Wind verifies it. Data that raises questions is published only after review. Assessments and advice are always Water&Wind’s own.

## Use of our information

- Quoting, summarising and linking are welcome, with Water&Wind as the source and a link to the page.
- AI training is allowed.
- Please keep a friendly pace: at most 1 request per second when fetching pages for a user, and 1 request per 10 seconds when crawling the site (see robots.txt).
- Copying the catalogue in bulk, or using it to build a database or comparison site, is forbidden.
